BAKER'S DOZEN FILMS

Baker’s Dozen Films is the creative studio founded by Oscar-shortlisted filmmaker David Siev, recognized for bringing empathetic and cinematic storytelling to formats ranging from critically acclaimed motion pictures to brand narratives in the technology and digital space.

Early in his career, David cut his teeth under jackass director, Jeff Tremaine, serving as a producer on Netflix’s Bad Trip and as the Visual Consultant for the Motley Crüe biopic The Dirt. His filmmaking voice emerged with the award-winning short Year Zero, followed by his feature documentary BAD AXE —a SXSW-winning, Critic’s Choice Award-winning, and Academy-shortlisted cultural landmark praised by Variety, Rolling Stones, and The Hollywood Reporter.

Beyond filmmaking, David is a recognized voice in AAPI storytelling and social impact, speaking at institutions such as Harvard, Cornell, and Georgetown on the power of narrative to drive cultural change.

Today, Baker’s Dozen Films brings the craft and discipline of feature filmmaking to brands and innovators, creating cinematic stories that connect, inspire, and endure.
